Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Facility Services and/ or the Environmental Services Coordinator, performs a lead function in assisting, inspecting, overseeing and troubleshooting work assignments and work performance of   the Environmental Services Level 1 and 2 employees. Accountable for providing prompt and courteous responses to all resident and coworker’s environmental service related requests. Position requires the ability to multitask and reprioritize duties and assignments as the needs of the department require.Essential DutiesEnsures the community is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition.Sets up, tears down and cleans up tables and chairs as needed prior to and following community events.Assists the supervisor with oversight of inventory, supplies and equipment as needed for the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations.Assists in scheduling tasks and personnel assignments.Assists in training new and existing employees on job duties, infection control, biohazard communications, and other appropriate policies and programs.Responsible for inspecting the cleanliness of all designated areas.Assists and performs basic handyman tasks (changing light bulbs, plugging toilets, hanging pictures etc…)Moves furniture for apartment remodels, show models, guest suites, and resident move ins and outs.Fills in for others during vacations and periods of short staffing as assigned.Other duties as assigned.
