Job Title: Junior Firmware EngineerJob DescriptionWe are a leader in specialized IoT products for the rail industry and are currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of all aspects of embedded software/firmware for locomotive and railcar IoT products. This is a full-time on-site opportunity and will consider hybrid work after becoming familiar with products and requirements.Qualifications
Understand how to package and send data over a cellular network to a website
Manage data in an embedded operating system with constrained resources
Write clean and maintainable code - C/C
Experience with embedded Operating Systems such as Embedded Linux - they also use Free RTOS and Raspberry Pi
Understanding of firmware on a 'higher level'
Work EnvironmentOnsite for the first few months and then some hybrid flexibility.
