Additionally, this position will help improve the usage of our evidence-based health content website. We want you to dig into the data, write up findings for internal and external collaboration, and stay on top of the latest analytics so we can continue to make an impact on patient care.Job responsibilitiesUnder the research program lead's direction, the applicant will independently carry out activities performing health data research and reporting. This includes database queries, analysis, and reporting, project development and support, and reviewing peer-reviewed literature to draft research summaries.Duties include:
Pulling data for reporting, summarizing findings, and presenting to the team
Analyzing data to support research projects and product development, such as overall trends in medical claims data and MDGuidelines website usage
Exploring new claims data sources and AI applications for predictive modeling
Supporting the writing, editing, and submitting of abstracts, magazine articles, manuscripts, and promotional materials summarizing research
Demonstrating integrity, excellence, accountability, and teamwork in all interactions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR a master’s degree in applicable field. Preferred backgrounds: science, health, computers
Highly motivated and independent, with the ability to work with remote team members
Exceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Strong oral and written communications skills
Knowledge of or experience with coding (R, SQL or equivalent), using databases to query data, and general statistics
