Description Robert Half has recently been assisting a local company who are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their finance team. This role requires 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, payments posting, reconciling accounts, P& L reconciliation, and creating journal entries. The candidate should be proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. The ideal candidate can adapt to different work styles and communicate effectively with various departments. Coordinate with the team to prepare and process all accounts receivable transactions, such as invoices and credit memos.
Apply customer payments by recording checks, transactions, and credit card payments.
Carry out reconciliations of accounts as needed, including P& L reconciliation, to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
Make sure all financial records are maintained and organized properly, ensuring accuracy and reliability in books.
Prepare and post journal entries to keep financial data updated.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with different departments to ensure the collection and application of all receivables.
Resolve any issues related to payments, invoices, customer accounts etc. efficiently and professionally.
Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's financial procedures and policy.
Requirements
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience working in accounts receivable.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
Excellent knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate well with different departments.
Problem-solving skills to identify, address, and rectify account discrepancies.
A solid understanding of the entire invoicing process.
