to announce a compelling opportunity for a Full Stack Data Engineer to join

our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in a cross-functional,

multi-disciplinary team dedicated to data integration and analytics,

including model-based analytics, to enhance decision-making for the Missile

Defense Agency (MDA). As a successful candidate, you'll thrive in an

Agile environment, collaborating with a team of highly skilled professionals

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and architectures

Create conceptual, logical, and physical models including but not limited

to data dictionaries, data flows, and data model designs

Integrate multiple data sources for digital integration and decision support

Provide data engineering support to software development, systems

engineering, and analysis teams

Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership

Ensure data security and complianceJob RequirementsBachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

8+years' experience in data engineering or related field, including

experience working the front-end and the back-end of data applications

Intermediate or better proficiency in SQL

Thorough understanding of data security principles, agile methodologies,

and best practices in software development and data operations.

Experience in data operations, data governance and data management,

including data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to data security

and privacy (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)

Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Energetic, motivated, self-starting, proactive

Preferred Qualifications:

UML experience

SPARQL and Python experience

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment

Knowledge of MDA organization, processes, and procedures

Understanding of the Missile Defense System, particularly Groundbased

Midcourse Defense (GMD)U.S. Citizenship Required for this Position:Yes

Schedule:M-F; 8-5

Work Location: Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO (Customer site

and Hybrid)

Salary Range - Colorado: $100,000 - $120,000
