Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Planner

Job Descriptions:The ISR planner will support the Space Operations Command (SpOC) by providing intelligence support to all aspects of the Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) Office to include operational planning, on-going capability employment, and exercise support. Examples of this support may include:

Provide response and staff packages to Higher Headquarters (HHQ)-directed Evaluation Request Messages (EReqM) or USSF Evaluation Response Message (EResM)

Participate in exercise execution as part of the IJSTO Office providing oversight, management and control of SpOC units and space events for exercises

Tracking exercise accomplishment and compliance with items such as objectives, scenarios, road-to-war, organizational structure and campaign plans

Additional support tasks as needed to enable the IJSTO office to interact with Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) and other exercise participants

Provide Operational Security (OPSEC) support to the IJSTO Office to include development, review, comment consolidation, comment resolution, and staffing of OPSEC and MILDEC plans for operational planning and exercise support

Represent SpOC/S2Z as an intelligence SME at Review and Approval Process (RAP) meetings, Operational Planning Team meetings (OPT), Special Programs CDRs Update Brief (SPCUB), IJSTO Working Group (STOWG), and Weapon and Tactics Conference (WEPTAC) forums to identify and support development of intelligence requirements, intelligence processes, and development of courses of action to address shortfalls

Develop, Review, and provide comment to CCMD CONOPS, Orders, OPLAN/CONPLAN Annex S, Fact sheet and Quad charts, Apportionment Packages and other IJSTO products as required

Support SpOCs exercise program by providing oversight, management and control of SpOC units and space events for exercises; tracking accomplishment and compliance via the Lessons Learned process with items such as objectives, scenarios, road-to-war, organizational structure, and campaign plans

Required Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

US Citizenship required.

Security Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant intelligence, space, or systems engineering field desired.

Experience: 5 or more years of experience conducting military planning.

Desired Skills:

Ability to think critically and act with personal initiative

Ability to clearly communicate with MAJCOM staff and officers

Experience in MAJCOM-level intelligence exercise coordination

Experience working in classified environments

Experience interpreting Air Force Instruction

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 to $125,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
