The Mission Operation (MO) Engineer ensures On-Orbit satellite programs meet mission objectives by utilizing detailed knowledge of satellite systems, payloads, and operations. The Mission Operations Engineer is key in supporting the integration and test of payload missions. A successful candidate will have a broad understanding of space Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and related disciplines including electrical, software, and test in the aerospace industry.Mission Operation Engineers will work under the supervision of Systems Engineering and/or MO leads on a satellite vehicle program. In close proximity with both engineering teams and program management the MO Engineer will support or take responsibility for mission requirements management, system modelling, system simulation, operational documentation, on-orbit procedure development, planning, lab integration and formal test of payload systems at On-orbit.
