In this role you will get to be on the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining a key network in supporting Defensive Cyber Operations.What You'll Be Doing:

Participating in SAFe® Agile Mission Deployment teams deploying Defensive Cyber Operations systems and networks, in a SAFe® construct.

Uses knowledge of network systems to help design and install internal and external networks

Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions.

Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation

100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with minimum 2+ years of experience (3+ years are preferrable)

Certifications: JNCDA, JNCDS-DC, JNCDS-SEC, CCNA, or equivalent

Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance

Experience with physical Network hardware installation

Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering

Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools

Automation and scripting experience in support of network deployments

Experience in a large-scale enterprise network environment spanning multiple data centers with high-availability requirements

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university

Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with ability to get Top Secret

DoD 8140.03 Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.

Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls

Experience with Ansible for automated network builds and security hardening

Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools

Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts
