DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Technical Security Officer to support corporate functions and multiple programs/customers within the Security organization. This position will assist with the management of an enterprise Access Control System (ACS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and CCTV system. Full life cycle management of these systems includes design, build, commissioning/certification, maintenance/administration, and decommissioning. Duties include preparation of security plans, reviewing applicable regulations, and established procedures for all areas within the physical/technical security discipline. As a member of the Physical/Technical Security Program, the individual must have the requisite knowledge and experience to guide local security teams, serve as a subject matter advisor to program management and function as a security liaison to customers.Key duties and/or responsibilities:· Design ACS/IDS/CCTV systems for corporate offices and UL 2050 accredited spaces in accordance with applicable government regulation such as ICD 705, NISPOM, and JFAN 6/9.· Submit request for proposal (RFP) to security system vendors and review returned proposals for technical acceptance.· Coordinate with security systems vendors to install and commission ACS/IDS/CCTV systems and obtain UL 2050 certifications, as applicable.· Configuration of access control/alarm points within the enterprise system.· Administration of the ACS/IDS creating user profiles, user groups, user accounts and setting up access/managing levels.· Assists in the development, management of and the implementation of the organization's Physical and Technical Security program· Conduct physical security surveys and vulnerability assessments and participate in customer security inspections, assessments and reviews.· Serve as technical authority for implementing physical security measures to ensure physical security policies, standards and procedures are established and enforced.· Assists in preparation of documents for accreditation and operation of secure areas.QualificationsMust have current TS clearance.Qualifications:· Experience installing/administering Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and CCTV. (Lenel and DMP preferred)· Experience reading facility and engineering drawings.· Experience with multiple customers regarding physical security requirements (NGA, NSA, DoD, DIA, etc.) and implementing physical security controls related to ICD 705, NISPOM and JFAN 6/9.· Must have strong interpersonal skills and briefing skills; communicate with senior level internal and external personnel on matters requiring coordination between organizations and independent decision making with minimal direct supervision.· Minimum 5 years of Technical Security experienceTypical Education and Experience:· HS and 14 years experience.Associates Degree and 12 years experience; Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience.Desired QualificationsREQNUMBER: 1927200-3427SAIC is a premier technology integrator, solving our nation’s most complex modernization and systems engineering challenges across the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets.
