Description The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company in the construction and manufacturing industry. This role's key responsibility is to offer administrative support across the organization and ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and queries. The ideal candidate will have a welcoming personality, excellent communication skills and be confident dealing with a diverse range of people and administrative tasks.Responsibilities:
Welcome visitors and direct them appropriately, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when required.
Manage the visitor logbook and issue visitor badges when necessary.
Perform various administrative duties, such as filing, photocopying, typing, and sending emails.
Assist with the organization and scheduling of appointments and meetings.
Handle the distribution of correspondence like letters, parcels, couriers etc.
Maintain the reception area to ensure it is well-organized and presentable at all times.
Coordinate with operations and administrative teams on meeting room reservations, office supplies, stationery, and other office administrative tasks.
Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.
Adhere to all safety procedures and provide any necessary support or information to construction/manufacturing teams.
Liaise with maintenance and cleaning staff to ensure the office space is clean, safe, and presentable.

Proven experience as a receptionist, frontline customer service, or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with workings of a construction or manufacturing office is a plus.
Knowledge of safety procedures in a construction/manufacturing setting would be an advantage.
High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
