The Senior Mortgage Technical Analyst serves as the department's technical subject matter expert, providing leadership and direction on complex mortgage system initiatives and technology solutions. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, from requirements gathering through implementation, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards. As a trusted advisor to leadership, the Senior Technical Analyst plays a key role in shaping strategic technology decisions, identifying opportunities for innovation, and improving operational efficiency. The position leads cross-functional projects, influences stakeholders at all levels, and ensures the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives. Essential FunctionsTechnical Leadership - Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned mortgage technology platforms. - Responsible for resolution of high-impact system issues. - Development of technical standards and best practices.Complex Enhancements & Design - Responsible for implementation of complex business rules, integrations, workflows, and system configurations. - Evaluate and define impacts across interconnected mortgage systems to enhance end user experience.Project Leadership - Lead medium-to-large technology initiatives. - Coordinate and lead cross-functional testing and implementation activities across department stakeholders.Training - Provide technical training and support to Analysts and Jr. Analysts. - Provide training and guidance to other Mortgage employees across all Mortgage departments. - Review system changes and provide dual-control approvals.Strategic Planning - Evaluate vendor solutions and emerging technologies. - Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
