Golden Mountain Montessori Infant Toddler House is currently looking for dedicated, caring individuals that have a passion for Montessori and children. We are a small community school that prides itself on putting families first. We are seeking a Montessori Certified Toddler Teacher (ages 12-36 months).
Essential Functions, Objectives and Duties and Responsibilities
-Lead children in the classroom,observe children's behaviors and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
-Create a nurturing, safe environment where children can explore and grow at their own pace. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children to develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
-Establish strong partnerships with parents to enhance communication and support children's developmental needs.
-Contribute to the school's reputation for excellence by meeting accreditation standards and maintaining high enrollment rates. Participate in school-wide initiatives and events to promote community engagement and support the school's mission.
-Attend required training and staff meetings to stay informed and contribute to the school's development. Stay current on best practices in early childhood education through professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to ensure alignment with the school's mission and goals.
-Provide breaks to full time staff within the classrooms, including but not limited to lunch and restroom breaks, teacher planning time and teacher/parent communication needs.
Education and Experience
-CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
-Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors and outdoors, assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear children well enough to maintain children's safety, and engage in physical activities with children
-Ability to speak, read and write English

-Must pass CBI (Colorado) and FBI (federal) background checks
-Flexibility to accommodate the needs of the children and the school
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to build relationships and partnerships with a diverse group of people and organizations; strong collaboration skills
