Johnny Nolon's and Colorado Grande Casinos are looking for energetic and positive Team Members that like to work and have fun at the same time.

Primary Cook duties are as follows:

1. Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds vegetables and fruits.

2. Cleans, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry, and seafood’s.

3. Dips food Items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them.

4. Stir and strain soups and sauces.

5. Weights and measures designated ingredients.

6. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators

7. Storing food in designated areas.

8. Has the ability to work all stations of the line and the prep area efficiently.

9. Bakes, roasts, broils, sauté, butchery, poaching, and steam, meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.

10. Carves meats, fish, vegetables, and or other portion foods and place in the appropriate manner on the plates for service as designated by the Kitchen Manager.

11. Maintains a proper clean station and follows the CLEAN AS WE GO policy.

12. Ensure the quality appearance and taste of all foods before they are presented to the guest.

13. Communicates with the Kitchen Manager on the product that may be going bad and or has a low stock level.

14. Performs other job duties as they arise by either the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor

15. Cleans work areas, equipment, utensils, and remove garbage. And maintains cleanliness of these areas.

16. Put away food orders as they come in, organize coolers, rotate product, and label all items used in the kitchens. The above must comply with the policies set forth by management.

17. Clean dishes when needed
