Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, efficient, and hardworking Dishwasher to join our fast-paced kitchen team. The Dishwasher is essential to our operations, ensuring a steady supply of clean plateware, silverware, glassware, and cooking utensils to support both the front and back of the house during service.
Key Responsibilities:
Washing and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a commercial dish machine and by hand.
Maintaining a clean and organized wash area, including floors, shelving, and dish machine.
Assisting in the timely removal of trash and recycling.
Performing basic cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager (e.g., mopping floors, cleaning surfaces).
Supporting the kitchen staff with basic food prep or stocking as needed during slower periods.
Adhering to all sanitation and health safety standards.
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, and push.
Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and hot water.
