As a Personal Care Providers staff members will work with individuals that have diagnosis of Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their home as well as in the community. While in the home the Care Provider will help to promote safe and healthy daily living activities by working side-by-side with client. Which include the following:
-Meal Preparations and planning.
-Transportation to and from doctor's appointments
-Scheduling doctors appointments
-Money Management
-Grocery Shopping
-House cleaning, side-by-side assistance
Qualifications
-At least 18 years of age with High School Diploma or GED.
-Able able to pass a background check-no felonies.
-Must be able to pass a drug test to include Marijuana.
-Have a valid license and insurance.
-Training and/or experience commensurate with the service or support being provided.
-Effective communication skills.
-Ability to complete required forms and reports and to follow verbal and written instructions.
-Capable and motivated to provide services
-Completion of minimum training based on State training guidelines.
-Experience to perform required job tasks and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with persons with developmental disabilities.
-able to work 32-40 hours a week
