Job description
We are looking for a crew of efficient, safety-minded Skilled Laborers for our walk-in tub division. The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security. This job primarily consists of 2-day bathtub and shower remodels, including the take out of the current tub or shower and installing a new walk-in bathtub or prefabricated shower unit.
Responsibilities
Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site.
Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery , and other equipment are safely set up.
Experience in general carpentry, and/or electrical work.
Experience with a acrylic, fiberglass bathroom fixtures and/or walk in tubs is preferred.
Apply caulking compounds by hand or using caulking guns.
Assisting with various electrical and plumbing installation procedures.
Completing on the job training.
Ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines.
Basic knowledge of maintaining company vehicle.
Knowledge of personal devices such as smart phone, iPad and portable printers.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Current driver's license.
Must pass a background check.
Sound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools.
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
A good understanding of safety procedures.
Great hand, eye and foot coordination.
Willingness to learn and be flexible.
Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills.
