The Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home and Mausoleum (including its nationally acclaimed Veterans Honor Court recognized by two United States Presidents and a distinguished group of Honorary Trustees) is seeking to immediately hire one to two individuals experienced in facilities and grounds maintenance.
This is a year-round, full-time position which is best suited to a hard-working, responsible, and good-natured person who aspires to have meaningful, long-term employment.
Applicants who have relevant experience (and formal education / certificates, if applicable) with general building maintenance, landscape maintenance & improvement, irrigation systems, electrical troubleshooting & minor repair, carpentry, plumbing, heating & air conditioning, flooring installation (tile [ceramic, granite, marble], carpet, etc.), and/or equipment operations (e.g., zero-turn mower, scissor lift, skid steer, backhoe, farm tractor, and forklift) are enthusiastically invited to apply. An excellent work ethic and positive attitude (someone who enjoys working and brings out the best in others with which they are working) is of paramount importance to us.
We are looking to hire an experienced, managerial-type individual and a second person (perhaps with less experience) who would like to be an assistant to the manager, with future advancement, as the opportunity presents itself.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with a person's experience, day-to-day work product, and education.
