Origin Mushrooms is hiring part-time farm help, with the potential for full-time hours.
We’re currently looking to fill two positions:
1 Full-Time Farm Hand – 40 hours/week
1 Part-Time Farm Hand – 24 hours/week
This position offers a clear growth path for the right individual, with the opportunity to develop into a long-term management role.
No mushroom cultivation experience is required. We’re happy to train the right person. What matters most is:
-Strong attention to detail
-Reliable work ethic
-Upbeat, positive attitude
-Typical Job Duties:
-Substrate preparation
-Sterile inoculation
-Harvesting and post-harvest handling
-Cleaning and sanitation
-Preparing fruiting rooms
-General farm projects, organization, and logistics
Requirements:
-Able to lift and move 50 lbs repeatedly
-Comfortable working on your feet and doing physical work
-Flexible on shift end times when harvest or production runs long – we don’t leave work undone
