Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team for a 3 week job in Kansas. This role involves a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor on site. This is a temporary w9 contract position. You must be willing to relocate for a minimum of 3 weeks up to 5. MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. The ideal candidate will have experience with various painting techniques, including airless paint spraying. This position requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team or solo environment. Work hard, and get paid well. All travel, lodging and food will be provided. Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
Apply paint using various methods including brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
Collaborate with foreman to maintain high-quality standards on projects.
Conduct maintenance tasks as required, including plastering and minor repairs.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained, cleaned and stored after use.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites.
Skills
Experience working in a commercial painting environment with knowledge of safety practices.
Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques for efficient application.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality workmanship.
