Colorado Building Maintenance (CBM) is a full-service commercial janitorial and staffing company in Colorado Springs. We have been in business since 1987, and have a number of long-standing contracts along the front range, from Pueblo to North Denver.
We are presently looking for 1 or 2 dedicated, self-motivated salespeople to help generate monthly janitorial contracts for us. The sales territory would be primarily in Colorado Springs.
This is a part-time, COMMISSION-ONLY position. There will be no set salary, only a monthly pay based on the contracts you help us land. We are looking for an Independent Contractor, not an employee.
The commission rate will be negotiated based on your experience and ability to produce ongoing janitorial contracts.
This is a great opportunity for a very self-motivated and energetic person who knows how to reach out to potential customers and generate leads. Your pay will be a monthly percentage of the contracts you help us land, based on gross revenues.
Experience in commercial janitorial sales is extremely helpful, though not required.
Our expectation would be for you to generate leads through contacting potential clientseither through phone calls, emails, or personal visitsin order to generate an opportunity for us to bid on their monthly janitorial needs. Once you have opened the door for a bid, we will help you put together a proposal and work with you to try and land the sale. We would work as a team to procure a signed contract. We have a good track record of landing contracts once we are given the opportunity to bid.
We anticipate this to be a part-time position, with unlimited potential for monthly, residual income for someone who knows what they are doing.
Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial janitorial sales is highly preferred.
Must have a working knowledge of the commercial cleaning industry.
Strong communication skills is a must.
Ability to communicate effectively through e-mails, phone contacts, etc.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
Ability to keep track of potential clients in a database in order to follow up on leads.
A positive attitude and willingness to work as an effective team member.
