Hiring for Mobile Dog Fitness Service – EnduroDog Canine Fitness
EnduroDog Canine Fitness, a new Colorado Springs mobile dog gym, is looking for an experienced dog handler to help drive our fully equipped mobile dog gym to client homes and assist with guided canine fitness sessions.
We serve clients throughout Colorado Springs, including the northeast areas of Briargate, Black Forest, Falcon, and Peyton. This is a great fit for someone who loves dogs, is confident handling a variety of breeds, and enjoys working independently.
Position:
Experienced Dog Handler / Mobile Fitness Assistant
Pay:
$25 per hour
Hours:
Part-time, flexible scheduling
(Multiple weekday mornings/afternoons, with potential weekend work)
Responsibilities:
- Drive our climate-controlled mobile dog gym to scheduled client locations
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels
- Assist with treadmill-based canine cardio sessions
- Provide positive reinforcement and ensure each dog’s comfort and safety
- Interact with clients professionally and represent the EnduroDog brand
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the mobile gym
Requirements:
- Experience handling dogs (shelters, daycare, training, vet clinics, boarding, or similar)
- Confident and calm handling skills, including with high-energy dogs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a truck and 12x7 cargo trailer (training provided)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience with treadmill conditioning or canine fitness
- Animal care background
- Pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to learn and get certified)
