GENERAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN
HARRY’S AUTOMOTIVE, INC.
We are currently seeking an experienced General Service Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will help to diagnose & service automotive vehicles of different makes & models. An opportunity for increased pay exists based upon the level of expertise you bring to the team.
The ideal candidate will be punctual on a daily basis & will have a positive attitude, maintain a clean appearance & workspace, willingness to continue to learn & grow in the job, a high level of integrity & accountability, and the desire to do the job right the FIRST time.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, incl. oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Help to maintain a clean shop environment on a daily basis
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a GS technician/mechanic
Knowledge of automotive repair
Knowledge of automotive repair equipment
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to be self-directed on jobs & learning
Clear & concise communication skills
Deadline-driven and detail-oriented
Safety-minded both in shop operation & customer vehicle repair
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must have & maintain own tools
Valid driver's license & dependable transportation
Clean driving record
