Role Definition
Under general supervision of the site Crew lead, Gutter Crew Installer will perform installation of gutters on buildings and/or preparing, placing, finishing, or servicing / replacing gutters in the construction industry. Gutter Crew Installer will set the positive example for the crew and assist the Crew Lead and proactively help, as necessary. Guter Crew Installer willl take direction from the Crew Lead and accomplish requested tasks quickly and without much supervision. Gutter Crew Installer will have general knowledge or work required in the gutter industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
> Experience is PERFERRED. Willing to train for the right person.
> Maintain flexibility to switch gears and assist other crew members as needed.
> Maintain good working relationship with all members of the crew and all employees throughout the company.
> Operate non CDL trucks.
> Recommend to Crew Lead any material needed which is not currently on the job site.
> Prep and help organize the job site as instructed by the Crew Lead.
> Take the initiative to clean the job site and encourage other less skilled workers to do the same.
> Keep track of crew job hours and worked performed by crew members for jobs.
> Review schedule, technical provisions, terms and conditions and contract drawings for job.
> Build according to drawings and specs as directed by the Crew Lead.
> Communicate regular updates to the Crew Lead as necessary and suggest solutions to problems which pop up.
> Propose time saving and effective suggestions to the Crew Lead.
> Report any unsafe work conditions on the job site and help train less skilled crew members on how to work safely.
Preferred Experience:
> 2 Years of Construction industry experience PREFERRED but not required. Willing to train the right person.
> Installing gutters or preparing, replacing, finishing, and servicing gutters.
Safety and Requirements:
> Help keep all job sites clean and in order without being asked.
> Confirm you can operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
> Report any injuries to the Crew Lead as soon as possible.
> Valid State issued driver’s license and use of vehicle to arrive at work on time.

> Able to work with hand tools and read tape measure and torpedo level
> Able to work on your feet for 8 Hr. shift and OT as required.
> Hearing and speaking to exchange information.
> Dexterity of hands to perform the tasks required of the position.
> Sight in order to be aware of hazards and dangers found in the nature of the work.
> Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
> Climb ladders of varying heights.
> Lift moderate to heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
