Responsibilities:
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs
- Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints
- Monitor the curing of concrete to ensure a high-quality finish
- Operate power tools and hand tools to perform tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a concrete finisher
- Excellent knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
