Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, motors, pumps, and electrical systems
Maintain and repair pneumatic tube systems
Handle basic carpentry tasks including flooring, walls, and window coverings
Replace and maintain lighting fixtures and bulbs
Maintain cleanliness and safety of mechanical rooms and work areas
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry systems
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed
High school diploma or GED required
