This is an independent contractor, 1099 position.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years in the Transportation Industry with OTR experience.
Must be at least 23 years old and have a current Class A driver's license
A clean driving record with no accidents or DUIs is required.
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
No DUI/DWI/DWAI's in the last 10 years.
No felony convictions in the last 5 years.
Applicants must be able to back a 53-foot trailer into a dock.
Proficiency in using a phone GPS and ELD device is required.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
What We Offer:
Starting at $0.55 cpm. (Depending on MVR and experience).
An additional $50 for all extra stops and drops.
Birthday and holiday bonuses.
Opportunity for pay increases when industry rates rise (up to $0.70 per mile and $100 for extra stops and drops).
Immediate pay upon arrival at the Colorado Springs Truck Yard with PODs in hand.
No Touch Freight.
Fuel Card.
About the Job:
Over-the-road routes from Colorado Springs to the East/West Coasts and Florida.
No trips to islands in New York.
Our Equipment:
2020 Freightliner Cascadia; 12-speed automatic transmission with a 53’ dry van trailer.
