Title: Lodging Tax Analyst
Location: Englewood, CO 80111
Salary: $20.00 Hourly
2 Month Contract (through 5/31/2019)
Job Overview:
The temporary Tax Analyst is primarily responsible for the transaction tax returns preparation and filing process. and customer service. A successful candidate must be efficient, accurate, deadline driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must also understand basic math, including percentages.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with the rest of the compliance team to prepare sales and lodging tax returns based on deadline requirements.
Prepare monthly reconciliations of the clients sales and use tax accounts.
Maintain/update new and existing customer information.
Investigate and resolve customer notices received from jurisdictions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Efficient, accurate and deadline driven
Proficient in basic math, including percentages
Adept with written and verbal communication skills
Able to prioritize and multi-task under constant time constraints
Able to troubleshoot, and problem solve in a quick, calm, analytical and methodical manner
Capable of learning/using different software applications and tools
Knowledgeable in Excel, Word and Outlook
