Property Description
The property is a fifty-five unit condominium complex located at the summit of White Pass (4,500ft). The Village Inn is located on the north side and the White Pass ski/board area is on the south side of the highway. The Nordic ski trail is adjacent to the Village Inn. A hot pool is part of the complex. The Village Inn is a separate entity from the White Pass ski area, operated for the benefit of the individual unit owners and the general public 365 days a year as overnight accommodations thru the Association’s Rental Company.
Job Overview
This is a full time, exempt, year-round, onsite position. The Manager is responsible for overseeing the Village Inn Association Facilities as well as the Rental Company Operations. This includes planning and staffing for 24/7 building and business support. We are looking for demonstrated experience in facilities and property management, preferably in an HOA or hospitality environment. This hands-on position requires flexibility, the ability to perform multiple tasks and assess issues and make decisions in stressful situations, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay overnight onsite as necessary. Building and maintaining partnerships across the Village Inn and White Pass community is critical for success in this role.
The Manager is hired by, and reports to, the Village Inn Association Board of Directors.
Preferences: Solid work history with demonstrated leadership experience, ability and willingness to learn, as well as the enjoyment of the outdoors.

Basic Duties of Manager
1. Directly manage and maintain all facilities of the Association and Rental operations
2. Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
3. Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
4. Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol
5. Troubleshoot facilities issues, perform routine maintenance, seasonal maintenance tasks, and repairs as needed
6. Effectively manage a team of 4-10 people (FTEs and Seasonal) to maintain the property and housekeeping functions, including but not limited to recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance management
7. Ensure that all employees are flexible in work assignments to meet demand during high occupancy periods, including overnight coverage
8. Support rental business functions and customer service while ensuing all team members provide exceptional service to guests and owners
9. Able to work into the evening, overnights, weekends as required
10. Respond to after-hour calls as necessary
11. Co-create and operate within Association and Rental budgets
12. Interact with the business management roles including offsite payroll and the Association Treasurer, who are responsible for accounting and other business functions
13. Assist with the management (vendor contacts, payments, and insurance) of Capital and Reserve Projects;
14. Make suggestions to Board on potential Capital and Reserve projects
15. Establish, train, and evaluate job standards and areas of responsibility as needed;
16. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county laws/regulations;
17. Maintain positive relationships and regular communication with Village Inn owners and Board of Directors;
18. Collaborate with the White Pass Co. management and personnel as needed
