Customer Service/Operations Specialist

As a Customer Service/Operations Specialist at SimpleSUB Water, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a positive experience by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and shipping our product. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.

Calibrate new water meters before they ship.

Resolve customer issues, including subscription changes, billing inquiries, and product support.

Assist customers with the setup and management of their accounts.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved to their satisfaction.

Provide feedback to the management team on recurring customer issues and suggest improvements.

Install water meters locally.

Inventory management and shipping/receiving tasks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

0-2 years of previous customer service experience.

Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Proficient with computer programs such as G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and email communication

Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.

Problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift, carry, and handle tools, equipment, and water meters weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing installations and inspections in various locations.

Ability to climb ladders or stairs to reach elevated pipes or work areas.

Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment, including wrenches, pliers, and pipe cutters, with precise hand-eye coordination.

Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks that require forceful exertion, such as tightening fittings and securing meters to pipes.

Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and crouching required to access water pipes, which may be located in tight or low spaces

Valid driver’s license and mode of transportation to drive to install locations, reimbursable gas mileage
