Definition
Our dispatcher position is 40-hours a week, and duties include receiving phone calls from restaurants, hospitals, schools, etc. - and determining the nature of the call and the urgency it should be handled.
The position is customer service oriented; being calm to the customer on the phone and understanding to their pressing needs. You will need to juggle both a land line phone, as well as cell phones that our technicians use to get ahold of the office.
Essential job functions and skills needed
- Memorization over time is necessary (remembering all the manufacturers we have relationships with, our top-tier customers, and which parts of towns we like to focus each technician in)
- Data entry and computer skills are required (Microsoft Office).
- Must have working knowledge of the Colorado map and cities
Previous dispatching experience or customer service a plus.
Previous ‘MAS / Sage’ computer system experience would be a plus!
Spanish speaking is a plus!
