As a Retail/Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be a vital part of the team, combining retail duties with customer service responsibilities with minor warehouse responsibilities, including inbound and outbound shipping as well as inventory management. Your work will focus on assisting customers, helping maintain inventory, supporting the sales team, and maintaining smooth operations in a busy, high-energy environment. Given the company’s strong focus on safety equipment and training, this role will also involve helping customers select the right products, handling calls, and coordinating training classes and certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Assist customers in product selection to ensure they have a positive experience.
Answer customer calls and provide excellent support over the phone.
Be the energetic face when new clients walk into the facility and need assistance
Enter in orders that don’t need any sales assistance
Help customers with purchases and resolve any inquiries or issues.
Will Call orders
Weekly checks of Open Sales orders
Inventory & Order Management:
Help manage the retail store’s product inventory.
Track stock levels and keep the store organized.
Process transactional orders and help fill training slots.
Manage will call items and oversee deliveries.
Team Collaboration & Sales Support:
Collaborate with your team to meet store goals and enhance customer service.
Support the sales team by creating training materials and certifications.
Follow up on open sales orders and maintain communication with clients.
Maintaining a Clean & Organized Workspace:
Ensure the retail environment is well-maintained, organized, and efficient.
Coordinate with the team to keep the office in top shape.
Qualifications:
Experience in Retail or Customer Service: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is a must, especially in safety equipment or a willingness to learn.
Communication & Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to interact with customers and provide top-tier service.
Attention to Detail & Organizational Skills: You’ll need to be detail-oriented to manage inventory and keep the retail space organized.
Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: You should enjoy working in a dynamic, energetic atmosphere and be able to adapt quickly to new tasks.
Retail Management Experience (a Plus): If you have experience in retail management, that’s a great asset.
