I am a mortgage broker and am looking for a part-time assistant who is comfortable working from home. Although this is a part-time job, I am looking for someone long term. Someone who can grow with my business for years to come and not someone looking for temporary or short term work. Mortgage or real estate experience is preferred but not required (I am willing to train) so long as you meet the requirements below.

I am looking to add someone to our team (we are small company of just two - three including you) who can handle lead intake. We get new referrals and leads on a daily basis and I need someone to help follow up on those leads in a systematic and professional manner. This would include:

- Calling/emailing each lead 2-3 times per week.

- Answering all initial/inquiry/tire kicker type questions.

- Walking them through our online mortgage application.

- Once the application is complete, you're done with that lead and it's passed onto the loan officer.

This is more of a customer service position opposed to a sales position. Most of our leads come to us as warm referrals so minimal sales is necessary. Im looking for someone who can take the initial call, answer all of their initial questions and walk them though the online application all while setting a stage of warmth, service, professionalism, responsiveness, etc.

Requirements:

- Work Hours: 9am - 1pm Monday - Friday. Must also be available for call backs.

- Equipment: Windows Computer, High Speed Internet, Headphones, Printer/Scanner.

- Location: Virtual. Must have home office that is quiet (kid and pet free during work hours).

- Language: All of your work is done via phone and email. Applicant must speak great English and have great customer service/people skills. Must also be able to write/type great English including good grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.

- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required so long as you have compensating work experience.

- Work History: Financial services (mortgage, real estate, insurance, financial services, etc.) preferred but not required so long as you can grasp basic mortgage and real estate concepts. Must have a solid 2 year work history as Im looking for a long term employee not a 'gig' employee.

Skills:

- Tech/internet savvy as you will be doing 100% of your work online (VOIP, digital filing and lead management).

- Warm personality. Great customer service and people skills as you will serve as the initial point of contact for each lead and it will be your job to make them feel welcome and to set a stage of warmth, service, responsiveness, professionalism, etc.

- Highly organized as you will be managing quite a few leads at one time. We also rely heavily on software, systems and workflows that you will need to follow.

Pay is hourly plus a per application bonus. Total pay will range from $13-$17 / hour. To apply, reply to this post and answer the following questions in your email:
