There is a special job waiting for the perfect person and maybe that person is you! We are a small non-profit that has provided residential services to adults with developmental disabilities for over 28 years. Today, we have a very unique opportunity for that perfect person. We have an opening for a Live On-site Caregiver. This individual would live at the Fourplex where 3 of our clients also reside. The clients are semi-independent adults but their residential setting requires staff to be available where they live. Both salary and housing are part of the compensation package. (Staff would have their own apartment.)
ON-SITE DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF
Provide residential support for adults with intellectual disabilities in their residential setting. Duties are:
Assist with all appointments.
Schedule medical, dental, therapy and/or psychiatric appointments as needed.
Transport and attend the client’s appointments and ensure correct Physicians Orders are completed at visit.
Complete medication administration on a daily basis depending on individual’s needs.
Complete medical documentation paperwork.
Assist the client with grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation.
Provide support and encouragement for client regarding daily hygiene tasks.
Assist the client with accessing their community and increase participation in social activities.
Assist client with household tasks.
Complete all required paperwork.
Attend all required trainings.
Attend monthly in office monitoring.
All on-site will have to be able to pass a background check, pass a drug test, must be current CPR and First Aid certified or willing to be trained, current QMAP certified or available to obtain, and have a valid CO Driver's License. They must have reliable transportation that is currently insured.
