We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our educational team, part time/flexible hours! We are a small, happy, one classroom, home-based Montessori school serving ages 15 months - 3 years. We operate M-Th, and follow the Cherry Creek School system calendar for holidays, etc.
Your role would support classroom activities, assist teachers in delivering lessons, and foster a positive learning environment for students. This role is particularly suited for individuals who are passionate about toddlers, early childhood development, and have experience working with diverse learning needs.
Skills:
-At least two years working in a classroom setting with toddlers
-Strong understanding of childhood development principles
-Experience or knowledge of the Montessori method is a plus and preferred
-Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
-Ability to communicate effectively with parents about students' progress at Parent/Teacher Conferences
-Monitor and collaborate on Montessori skills checklist for each student
-Exceptional cleaning skills to keep learning environment safe
