Downing Street, DenverThe role you'll contribute:Contributes towards the delivery of quality health care with a concern for the well-being of those served. Provides high quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program. Therapy may include individual, family, couples or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with Colorado State Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and AdventHealth policies and standards of care.The value you'll bring to the team:

Demonstrates critical thinking in delivery of assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of quality care to meet patient needs.

Facilitates individual, group and family therapy as well as psycho-educational groups to promote patient emotional, spiritual, and psychological health.

Communicates and collaborates with family members and other care givers regarding the plan of care for the patient, works with interdisciplinary team to formulate and implement care of patients using insight, limit setting, support, goal setting and other techniques as appropriate.

Consistently complies with all requirements of Federal and State laws, accreditation standards and ethics guiding the behavioral health profession and AdventHealth policies and standards of care.

Demonstrates critical thinking in the delivery of all EAP Interventions, such as Workshops, Training, Mediation, Team Effectiveness, Trauma, Drug and Alcohol, Management Services, etc.

Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy.

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :Required:

Bachelor’s degree in counseling, Social Work OR related field.

1 year of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting.

Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.

Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.

EAP knowledge and experience, preferred for EAP program positions.

Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required.
