Job Title: Cycle Counter AssociatePay & FSLA Status: $24 - $26 D.O.E.; Hourly non-exemptRegular Schedule & Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pmRegular Weekly Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week (overtime as needed)Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours annually Paid Sick Time: 48 hours annually Management Position: NoBranch Location: 5050 Ironton Street, Denver CO 80239 POSITION SUMMARY:Our Cycle Counters are responsible for the accurate management of inventory information and for making adjustments to records of inventory after physical cycle count verification. The accuracy of physical inventory and timely adjustments is critical to mitigating the many downstream impacts that can occur due to inaccuracies. This individual will operate within OrePac’s internal computer system. Performing some Receiving Clerk responsibilities may be assigned as well. This is a labor-intensive position that requires heavy lifting. Individuals are regularly on their feet throughout the day and may work at heights as required. Safety is a priority. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for maintaining inventory cycle count and physical inventory program and communicating any inventory variances timely with operations management.

Perform physical inventory counts daily and compare them to information within the system. These counts may be followed by verification, entering of data, and reporting on data.

Actively participate with operations management in determining the root cause of inventory discrepancies and developing and implementing corrective action plans to eliminate repetitive errors.

Engage in safe work practices and adhere to OrePac’s established safety program and policies at all times.

Forklift duties may be assigned to this position. Any assigned forklift duties will first require taking and passing a forklift training course and obtaining a certificate. Forklift duties will include staging and/or stacking material neatly and safely, operating the forklift in a safe manner, filling the forklift with propane fuel, and regularly checking the forklift fluid levels.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.

Ability to adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated by OrePac’s safety program. Ability to perform all essential responsibilities of the job in a safe manner.

Ability to compute basic math problems to include addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Mechanical aptitude. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and the ability to read a tape measure.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team or individually with minimal supervision while achieving quality and timely completion of assigned tasks to achieve customer satisfaction.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

1-2 years of related experience in a warehouse environment (preferred).

Any combination of education, training, or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be accepted in place of the education and/or experience requirements listed for this role.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Regularly required to see, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, the ability to adjust focus, and peripheral vision.

Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Regularly reach with hands and arms.

Regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Regularly steer, reach, and handle dunnage if forklift operation duties are assigned to the position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/loud.

The employee frequently works in high, precarious places.

The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.

Comply with company drug testing policies and procedures.
