Description Law Firm Director of Business OperationsRobert Half has partnered with a nationally recognized defense litigation firm in the Denver Metro area on the search for a 5+ years’ Director of Business Operations to join their growing team. This Director of Business Operations will be responsible for business and non-legal aspects of the law firm, reporting to the Partners of the firm. Primary responsibilities included, but are not limited to, the following:
Analyze operations of the firm to increase profitability and to ensure policies/procedures are followed
Strategic planning
Collaborate with the Partners to develop and implement plans for firm operations
Provide day-to-day leadership for firm staff and personnel
Ensure effectiveness of internal and external business processes
Assist with IT infrastructure and troubleshooting
Manage relationships with building management regarding leasing and space planning
Assist with new business intakes and conflicts checks
Procurement and vendor relations
Interact with third-party billing and accounting vendors
Oversee and manage HR matters for the firm
Ensure emergency procedures are in place
Assist with firm marketing and online presence
Manage all business insurance and relationships with brokers and consultants
Other duties as assigned
Candidates interested in this position should ideally have a BA/BS or MBA in business. Experience in law firm management is highly preferred. Wide ranging experience with Emergency procedures
General familiarity with conflicts checks
Eagerness to learn quickly
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines
