Description We are offering a contract for a Full Charge Bookkeeper role in the Oil & Gas - Exploration & Production industry based in Denver, Colorado. This role involves meticulous bookkeeping tasks and is instrumental in maintaining the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: Accurately process invoices ensuring all financial records are up to date Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Assist in clearing the backlog in the Accounts Payable department Perform check runs to manage the company's expenditure Reconcile accounts to ensure all financial transactions are accounted for Undertake additional Accounts Payable tasks as required Maintain and manage Journal Entries for accurate financial tracking Oversee Accounts Receivable to ensure timely receipt of payments. Requirements Possess a deep understanding and working knowledge of Journal Entries Demonstrable experience with Bank Reconciliations Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with the Oil & Gas - Explor & Prod industry Ability to maintain complete and accurate financial records Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Proficient in using bookkeeping software and related technologies Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
