RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Engineer - Cloud Integration in Denver, CO.

Summary:
The Lead Engineer will be supporting the Federal PMO Engineering & Integration team and its specialized customers. Applies advanced engineering and network principles, theories, concepts, and technologies to solve unusually complex problems and issues. The candidate leads the development, evaluation and implementation of new and innovative principles, processes, and applications.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead Engineer will provide best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more
Serves as a guide and subject matter expert elevating the overall cloud capabilities within the company
Refine, evangelize, and deliver on the company's multi-cloud operating model vision and strategy
Partner in the delivery of cloud-based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that enable business objectives
As a Lead Engineer, you will analyze complex systems and/or customer environments, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems, and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices
Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Product Architects to implement technical solutions
Support the adoption of Cloud practices and drive the institutionalization of the practices
Identify risk and mitigation plans associated with security, legal, data, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Supports acquisition and implementation of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services
Acts as primary consultant to leadership detailing the technical requirements and specifications necessary to obtain solutions
Requires limited direction and guidance with most tasks

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
5+ years of related experience
Experience with cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate, and key management
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.
