The Paint Prepper plays a critical role in the refinishing process by preparing vehicles and parts for paint application while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met.Responsibilities:Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming repaired areas.Remove and reinstall trim, moldings, lights, and other components as needed for refinishing.Mix and apply primers and sealers according to manufacturer specifications.Maintain a clean and organized work area, including paint booths and preparation stations.Inspect vehicle surfaces for imperfections and ensure readiness before paint application.Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of paint materials and equipment.Work collaboratively with painters, body technicians, and production staff to meet repair deadlines.
