This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.The anticipated term of this engagement will be 13 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.CW-Lead Project Manager ITThe Program and Project Management job plans, organizes, and controls resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Under minimal supervision, this job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage large projects for the organization.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Organizes project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful.

Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a project and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met.

Implements an established project plan and monitors progress and performance against this plan.

Monitors the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing.

Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.

Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.

Coordinates the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.

Partner with the Program manager and Business leaders to establish programs and define program scope based on key business objectives.

Facilitate the analysis and reporting on programs / projects within the initiative and the development of recommendations regarding change requests

Communicate information, with diplomacy, upwards to the leadership team, across to the stakeholders, and down to programs and projects

Proactively drive integration and collaboration across key business partners and technology stakeholders

Ensure stakeholder engagement and effective communications across the initiative

Develops business rationale for change including costs, benefits, and tradeoffs.

Drive change adoption through employee readiness, training and effective control plans

Drive integration with partners such as Finance, Risk, Audit to ensure that all control functions are involved

Coordinate with the Program Manager for initiative level reporting, interdependency management, performance management, and issue, risk and change review and escalation

QualificationsRequired Skills

Bachelor’s degree and/or combination of 10+ years equivalent experience

2+ years experience in Financial Services, with Retirement Financial Services a plus

5+ years experience with program or project management

Desired/Preferred skills

Ability to lead complex business-readiness efforts, multi-task, and work in a fast paced environment

Advanced communication and collaboration capabilities

Experience in developing project plans, stakeholder maps, budget management, resource management, risk and contingency planning

Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies preferred with SAFe certification or other change management certification a plus

Knowledge and understanding of TIAA products, services, processes, and systems platforms preferred but not necessary
