This role is all about being the go-to person who helps our residents feel comfortable, cared for, and supported every single day. You'll be the friendly face who anticipates needs, keeps things running smoothly, and ensures everyone gets their medications safely and on schedule—all while working under the guidance of our licensed nursing team.Essential DutiesBe the Personal Care MVP: Jump in to help residents with their daily needs—bathing, dressing, meals, laundry, and everything in between—with genuine attention to the little things that matter (combed hair, tied shoes, fresh breath!).Stay One Step Ahead: Keep your eyes open for anything that needs attention—whether it's hygiene needs, broken glasses, a new rash, or missing hearing aids—and let your supervisor know right away.Keep the Communication Flowing: Chat regularly with your supervisor and teammates to stay in the loop about resident issues and make sure everyone's on the same page.Be a Safety Guardian: Watch out for residents' safety and well-being, and always report any concerns about abuse, neglect, or misuse of resources as required.Track the Changes: Notice and report any shifts in residents' health or status to your supervisor, and document their condition as directed.Master the Medication Routine: Help residents with their prescribed daily medications following all state laws and established procedures. Double-check everything (right resident, right dose, right time, right medication, right route!), flag any concerns with the RN/LPN, and document refusals or questions promptly.Keep Supplies Stocked: Restock medication carts and storage areas with supplies like gloves and sanitizer cups to keep everything organized and ready to go.Communicate Needs: Submit work orders for any replacements or repairs that pop up during your shift.Show Up for the Team: Attend and actively participate in monthly staff meetings where we tackle resident needs and departmental updates together.Roll with It: Handle other duties as assigned with flexibility and a positive attitude.
