We are seeking a policy-oriented individual who works well under pressure and changing circumstances.Responsibilities
Read all legislation that is introduced
Work collaboratively with the Senate Minority policy staff to conduct research and strategic analysis
Assist the policy staff in preparing memos and reports as needed
Preparation of legislative research for Senators during committee meetings
Meet with Senators regularly to discuss committee schedule
Prepare policy memos for all legislation introduced during the interim
Compensation
$50K-$60K/year commensurate with experience, with enrollment in PERA, the state’s pension program, and insurance benefits.
