Description Why this job – SENIOR BUDGET ANALYST:Make a difference in your community by joining a Colorado non-profit organization in an exciting capacity as their Senior Budget Analyst. This role positions you as a vital contributor to the daily accounting operations and the financial direction of the business. As the Senior Budget Analyst, your responsibilities will encompass preparation of contract and Agency budgets, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and the execution of month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a robust background in full cycle accounting and a proven track record in implementing process improvements.What You'll Actually Do: Assist in facilitating the preparation and review of annual operating budgets, monthly forecasts, reporting and monthly variance analysis. Conducts periodic budget reviews with programs to identify risks and develop proactive solutions. Performs a variety of ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management. Prepare contract budgets for applications.
