You will get the opportunity to mentor technical staff and we will support your involvement in the hydropower industry.The responsibilities of this position include:Leading the conceptual to detailed design of hydropower and pumped storage projectsPerform as Capture Manager for pre-positioning and preparing proposalsInspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing hydropower and dams projects including review and surveillance of monitoring data.Perform Alternatives Analyses, Feasibility Studies, and Detailed Designs with strong knowledge of design drawings and technical specifications.Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications.Client liaison and experience with technical review boards.Project management of multidisciplinary teams and the engagement of AECOM’s operations/finance teams.Mentoring and technical development of junior staff, supporting them to achieve technical success.Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.Qualities in a qualified candidate:You enjoy working in teams and aspire to progress into advanced roles based on your knowledge.
