The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving high-impact learning experiences that align with business priorities. This role partners closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), facilitators, and business leaders to translate complex needs into engaging, scalable learning solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end instructional design for leadership, technical, compliance, and professional development programsConduct needs analyses to identify performance gaps and recommend learning or non-learning solutionsDesign blended learning experiences (eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, in-person, job aids, gamification, etc.) that support and align with strategic enterprise goalsApply adult learning principles and evidence-based instructional strategiesCreate storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for learning solutionsPartner with facilitators to ensure strong delivery alignment and learner engagementEvaluate program effectiveness using data and iterate based on insightsShape and create instructional design best practices and processes (storyboard templates, reviews, timelines, etc.)Mentor junior instructional designers and model team standards and best practicesSuccess MeasuresProgram effectiveness and learner performance improvementStakeholder satisfaction and alignment with business goalsScalability and reuse of learning solutionsQuality and consistency of instructional design outputs
