Join Western Union as a Senior Manager, Legal PMO!Western Union powers your pursuitThis Senior Manager role will focus on equipping the legal department for operational success and establishing and leading several areas of the legal operations sub-function. The position reports to the Vice President, Privacy, Data Governance, and Legal Operations and works closely with legal leadership, the privacy and data governance program, and teams across the global legal function. Core responsibilities will focus on accelerating legal strategy and business support by developing innovative tools and process, driving efficiency and accountability, establishing and leading a legal project and portfolio management function, and facilitating and managing department OKRs. This role will also act as an expert in designing, building, and overseeing globally scalable systems, processes, resources, and technology to drive efficiency and accelerate strategic initiatives.Role Responsibilities

Drive legal department operational maturity, efficiency, and optimization.

Design, implement, and maintain global legal sites/content & resources strategy (primarily focused on SharePoint and Unily).

Lead and manage global project and portfolio management function for legal department.

Act as lead project manager on key strategic initiatives.

Designing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining department and global Privacy & Data Governance operations frameworks, roadmaps, policies, and standards (including technology operations).

Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Role Requirements

5+ years of legal operations, privacy, data governance, compliance, program and/or senior business analyst, process management, portfolio and project management, content management, process optimization, site and tool development or similar experiences.

B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent operations, program management experience. Postgraduate or master’s degree in business administration, information technology, or similarly applicable education or degrees desired.

Writing, presentation, active listening, conflict management, confidence, respect and inclusion.

This role will be responsible for: following existing processes, designing new processes, developing or modifying and leading cross-functional projects.

M365 tools and apps development, MS Power Platform, metrics, task/matter tracking & monitoring, documentation, workflows, content management, site development, business systems analysis, productivity tools, policy and procedure development and management, process development, portfolio and project management methodologies, meeting facilitation, technical writing, strategy and framework development, SDLC, Computer Science & Databases, Data Analytics.
