Hiring Carpenter Techs in Denver!We are looking for a talented Carpenter Tech with expertise in set building to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for custom fabricating exhibit components using wood, plastic, laminates, and metal. Experience as a set builder, finish carpenter, or custom cabinet builder is highly valued.Responsibilities
Fabricate exhibit and tradeshow booths under the Shop Manager's direction.
Collaborate with the Shop Manager on fabrication projects to support exhibit assets.
Lead the carpentry aspect of the fabrication process, focusing on set building.
Design and construct intricate set pieces for exhibits, ensuring they meet aesthetic and structural requirements.
Work with designers and other team members to bring creative visions to life through detailed set construction.
Use advanced carpentry techniques to create realistic and durable set elements.
Construct carts and crates to ensure the safe transportation of exhibitions.
Adapt to changing priorities as they arise.
Handle heights as necessary; ladder work is common.
Carry heavy equipment manually or with appropriate tools.

2+ years of experience in fabrication using wood, plastic, and metal, or related work; talented hobbyists are welcome.
Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting equipment, bending, standing, climbing, and walking.
Ownership of basic carpentry tools.
Proficiency in various finished work such as laminate, melamine, and moldings.
Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, blueprints, and diagrams.
Basic knowledge of math and measurements.
Experience with hand and power tools, and tape measures.

Willingness to work overtime as requested through the holidays.
