Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR) is acquiring contractor support services for a Software Systems Engineer position in the Denver, Co area. The position is apart of the Business Development Services (BDS) department supporting diverse web environments, mission-critical applications, SQL Server database administration, database, and web solution development and support and on-site technical and customer support for the ONRR Compliance Sites. BDS also performs development and support for the ONRR Content Management System (CMS).
Qualifications: 5-8 years of object-oriented programming experience with strong customer service skills. Significant experience in the software development lifecycle to include gathering and analyzing business system requirements. Experienced in creating application system models. Knowledge of industry practices in application, web, and database development. Design, develop, test, and deploy information systems software solutions. Reviewing analytical reports; carrying out problem definition, and developing solutions. Perform systems analysis and suggest modifications in procedures and policies.
