Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Denver, Colorado. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be part of a team specializing in accounting services for the utility and energy sector. Your primary role will be to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all accounting processes. Responsibilities Ensure all accounts payable invoices are accurately entered into the system and allocated to the correct job. Manage and reduce the backlog of accounts payable emails. Carry out month-end close activities regularly, including variance analysis, reconciliations, budget analysis, and depreciation. Perform vendor reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accurate. Identify and correct any duplicate payments to maintain accurate financial records. Maintain and update the general ledger and journal entries. Use Deltek Vantage and Microsoft Excel Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
